How can I deter foxes from coming into my garden? (humanly)?

this may sound daft but it works, go to your barber and ask for hair cutting, half a pillow case should be enough, then fill some old stockings with bunch's of the hair( do not wash it) and then hang them around the garden perimeter. It is supposedly the smell of human that puts them off and keeps them away. This was ped on by a chicken farmer and it sems to work. Good luck
