This lad i'm seeing has the worst dress sense ever-he always looks scruffy, but i like his personality?

Im not shallow , but is embarresing sometimes when hes got a long beige shirt on thats to big for him, a scuffy black fleece,jeans that are too short for him and half ripped trainers, no effort at all he is a farmers son though and lives out in the country i live in town. I love fashion and always wear nice clothes. hes admitted he hasnt been shopping in a year or 2, how can i style him and tell him with out hurting his feelings?
