Democrats: Would you have preferred Saddam Hussein be in power still today than invading Iraq and removing him?

Let's get real about the true motivations for the invasion. The Bush Administration wanted bases in the Middle East to protect Israel and Middle Eastern oil. 9/11 and Saddam Hussein were only the excuses used to carry out the objectives. Yes, I would prefer that women and children and other innocent Iraqis be alive today who were killed by our gunfire and other munitions. Yes, I would prefer that the ancient treasures had not been looted and that the Iraqi infrastructure not be destroyed and that the trillion dollars wasted might have been spent on the infrastructure of the United States of America.
