Is it bad to scuba dive while congested?

im taking scuba cles to get certified. we have a pool dive tomorrow. the pool is 13 ft deep. ive been scuba diving once before and came to like it alot! i have been congested now for 4 or 5 days. i just got advil congestion relief and took it last night and this morning(i will take it more times today because you can take it every four hours). But my ears are clogged which,i know is bad for scuba diving. So, this beings me back to my question, can i scuba dive while im congested like this?
