Let's ume were all alone in the universe?

I won't address the umption of a 'god', since there is no evidence for that. There's no evidence for other life either, but the likelyhood seems high for other civilizations to have formed. If it could be 'proven', then I suppose I'd be sad to know there were no other life forms. I think there are, there must be. But we may never know.
