Friend accidentally drank 50ml pure methanol 2days ago says he feels little dizzy and eyes hurt a little?help?

My friend accidentaly drank it as the friend whose house he was at has his own lab, but stupidly put some chemicals in empy vodka bottles! what a coconut! im just worried about my friend as i heard methanol isnt that good for you when ingested! i tried telling him to go to the doc but he says he wil get better soon and it will go outa his system? help please
