Teens; what color should I paint my room?

My mom has decided on letting me paint my bedroom. I have a really big room, and it is currently painted shades of brown and is done in cheetah print. I really love shades of blue! I'm currently thinking about robins egg blue. But if you have any suggestions, that'd be great :)
